A knocked out tooth requires immediate attention- call our office as soon as possible. If you can locate the tooth, place between the cheek and gums or in a container of warm milk to bring with you. Do not touch the root of the tooth.
If you have food or an object caught between your teeth, gently rinsing the mouth or using dental floss may remove it. Do not use sharp objects to attempt to remove it in order to avoid damaging the teeth and/or the gums. If you cannot dislodge the object, contact our office to schedule a visit.
